Bulldog Pride Fund
Mission: To provide an annuity that supports Fresno State students.

The Bulldog Pride Fund (BPF) was established by Dr. Peter Robertson in 2005 with two $50 donations, and was officially recognized by the Fresno State Alumni Association in 2006. It has a simple mission: To provide an annuity that supports students attending Fresno State.
In the 2024-25 academic year, the BPF has awarded 10 scholarships of $3,000 each – or $30,000 total. Overall, the BPF has provided 116 scholarships valued at $245,000. As of June 30, 2024, total donations to the BPF are $720,907; and the endowment balance is $860,462.

The 2024-25 Bulldog Pride Fund scholars sharing $30,000 equally ($3,000 each) are:
- BPF: ASI President’s Award – Faith Van Hoven – a senior from Clovis, majoring in philosophy and pre-law;
- BPF: Drum Major Award – Davian Barba – a senior from Ceres studying music education
- BPF: Eartha Kitt Vocal Performance Award – Josha Bravo – a senior from Clovis, majoring in music (vocal performance);
- BPF: Edna Garabedian Vocal Performance Award – Taylor Bumgarner – a senior from Fresno, studying music (vocal performance);
- BPF: General Award – Jonelle Mahealani Bush – a graduate student from Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi, majoring in speech-language pathology;
- BPF: Jeffery Robinson Humanics Award – Lexey Jenkins – a senior from Ahwahnee, studying music with an LGBTQ2+ Studies minor and a Humanics Certificate;
- BPF: Larry Newsome Theatre Arts Award – Joel Alaniz Ayala – a senior from Firebaugh, majoring in theatre arts (design and technology), with a minor in French;
- BPF: Raymond Burr Theatre Arts Award – Paulina Marin Contreras – a senior from Riverdale, studying theatre arts (acting) and Spanish;
- BPF: TimeOut Spirit Award – Tradition dictates that we keep the name of the student that performs as Fresno State’s mascot a secret, but the student is a sophomore from Fresno, double majoring in kinesiology and sports administration; and
- BPF: USP President’s Award – Ingie Kisbye – a senior from Sanger, studying both political science, and women’s studies, plus a Jewish Studies Certificate.
