Summer 2026

Hello, Summer!

As we wrap up another incredible year, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving our alumni communities have been instrumental in advancing the mission of the Fresno State Alumni Association and supporting the success of our students.

Together, we achieved so much this year:

  • Hosted 18 alumni and friend engagement events, welcoming more than 1,740 participants.
  • Generated more than $131,000 in event revenue.
  • Awarded $262,200 in scholarships to 125 Fresno State students.
  • Raised more than $7,500 and engaged 93 donors through the Day of Giving You + 2 Challenge.
  • Supported alumni engagement across the Valley and beyond through the leadership of 84 dedicated volunteers serving 18 Alumni and Friend Chapters and Clubs.

These accomplishments are a direct reflection of your passion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to Fresno State. We are deeply grateful for the time, energy, and leadership you invest in your alumni communities and the Bulldog family as a whole.

Fiscal Year-End Reminder

As we approach the close of the fiscal year on June 30, 2026, please help us ensure a smooth year-end process by keeping the following deadlines in mind:

  • June 15, 2026 – Final day to submit invoices and reimbursement requests for expenses incurred during the 2025–26 fiscal year.
  • June 22, 2026 – Final day to submit checks or cash for deposit.

To ensure timely processing, please send all invoices, reimbursement requests, and deposit documentation to Madi Frisby as soon as possible. Submissions received after the fiscal year closes may be delayed or unable to be processed.

If you anticipate any challenges meeting these deadlines, please contact us as soon as possible.

Celebrating Madi Frisby

We would like to share that Madi Frisby's last day with the Fresno State Alumni Association will be July 17. Many of you have worked closely with Madi through the Chapters, Clubs, and Networks (CCN) Program and the Alumni Scholarship Program, and we know you'll join us in wishing her well as she begins an exciting new chapter in her career.

Madi has been a trusted partner, always ready to provide guidance, answer questions, solve challenges, and support CCN events, projects, and initiatives. Her professionalism, positivity, and genuine commitment to helping others have made her a valued resource and a favorite among many CCN leaders. 

Her impact can be seen throughout the program. From improving communication and financial reporting processes to strengthening volunteer support systems, Madi's initiative, organization, and strategic thinking have helped make the CCN program more effective and easier to navigate. More importantly, she built meaningful relationships based on trust, respect, and care for our alumni volunteer community. 

Madi has been an invaluable member of the Alumni Association team, and her contributions to our scholars, donors, alumni, and volunteers have left a lasting mark. We are deeply grateful for all she has done and will miss her greatly.

Madi will be relocating to Seattle to join the University of Washington. While we are sad to see her leave Fresno State, we are excited for this next opportunity and know she will continue to make a positive impact.

Platform Transition Update

The Fresno State Alumni Association is transitioning from iModules to FundMetric for event registration, email marketing, and online giving. We are currently in the beta testing phase and anticipate full implementation beginning July 1.

As part of this transition, we appreciate your patience as we migrate existing forms, Contact Us pages, and designated giving links. This new platform will provide several enhancements, including:

  • A more streamlined and user-friendly experience
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay payment options
  • Improved reporting and data management capabilities
  • Enhanced event registration and online giving functionality

New designated giving links will be distributed during the final week of June. Please note that existing iModules giving links will no longer be accessible once the transition is complete.
