Fresno State Alumni

Chapter and Clubs Newsletter

Spring 2026

Hello chapter and club volunteers,

Thank you for all the time, energy, and leadership you bring to your alumni communities. Whether you’re organizing events, building connections, or supporting fellow members, your work truly makes a difference, and we’re grateful for all that you do.

As you continue this important work, please know that our staff is here for you. We’re always happy to help brainstorm ideas, talk through challenges, or answer any questions that come up, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

To help keep everyone connected and informed, we’re also launching a dedicated webpage for Chapter, Club, and Network Program updates and resources. It will be refreshed twice each semester and serve as a go-to space for important information and support.

-- Your friendly FSAA team

Welcome to our newest Alumni & Friends Chapter

We’re excited to introduce our newest group, the Humanics Alumni & Friends Chapter! This chapter brings together alumni and supporters who mobilize change in our communities. We’re thrilled to have them join our network and look forward to the collaboration ahead.

Day of Giving and You + 2 Challenge Update

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Day of Giving and the You + 2 Challenge. Your outreach and engagement helped amplify support for Fresno State, making our Ninth Annual Day of Giving the most successful day yet.

Together, an incredible $803,137 was raised, with gifts from 44 states and 13 countries, a powerful reflection of the strength and reach of the Red Wave, and your efforts were a big part of that.

With that being said, we are excited to announce our winners of the You + Challenge! A big congratulations to:

🥇 1st Place at $1,000: Band Alumni and Friends Club
🥈 2nd Place at $750: Chicano Alumni and Friends Club
🥉 3rd Place at $500: Humanics Alumni & Friends Chapter

*Please note: Day of Giving funds are processed through the Foundation and may take some time to appear in your accounts. Once available, they will be reflected in your monthly financial reports, which are uploaded to your shared drive and sent to your treasurer. At that time, we will also provide a Day of Giving donor report that includes donor names and gift amounts.

2026–27 Chapter & Club Annual Renewals

As we prepare for another exciting year, it’s time to submit your 2026-27 Annual Renewal Packets, due by May 26, 2026. Completing your renewal is essential to ensuring your chapter or club remains active and continues to receive access to program assets, support, and resources.

Please note that Chapters and clubs that do not submit renewals will be considered inactive until the process is completed.

What to expect:

  • Renewal packets will be sent via Adobe Sign (from Madi)
  • Last year’s information will be retained unless updates are provided
  • Please send any leadership changes as soon as possible

As a reminder, the following are the minimum requirements to remain in active status as an official alumni chapter or club:

  • Maintain a fully staffed and active executive committee
  • Complete the annual renewal packet
  • Hold a minimum of two-four executive committee planning meetings per year
  • Host a minimum of at least one annual event or activity and submit a post-event report

If you would like to schedule time to connect with program staff, we would love to chat with you! Please feel free to reach out at your convenience. We are always happy to support you in any way possible.
