CSDS Continuing Education Course
The CSDS alumni chapter hosts two live and/or virtual continuing education courses
each year (spring and fall). These courses address current evidence-based practice
topics for the school based and medical based SLP. Each 6 hour course meets the requirements
for state licensure and ASHA continuing education hours.
Although we are providing quality evidence-based practice professional development
required by the state licensing board and professional associations, the CSDS alumni
chapter provides yearly scholarships to graduate students to assist with funding their
education. The proceeds from our signature events contribute to the scholarship endowment
fund for future giving to the graduate students in the Communicative Sciences and
Deaf Studies program.
