MCJ Hall of Fame and Scholarship Celebration
The MCJ Hall of Fame and Scholarship Celebration honors notable department alumni
and celebrates student success through scholarship. The event typically takes place
in November and is hosted on campus, pending state COVID-19 regulations and restrictions
on in-person gathering.

Content provided includes: job openings relevant to the MCJ industry, updates on alumni,
and opportunities for alumni to support current student efforts. For students, the
MCJ Chapter continues to provide financial opportunities through multiple scholarships
available.

Each year, Fresno State and the Fresno State Alumni Association, through the Department
of Media, Communications and Journalism, award more than $20,000 in scholarships and
grants from endowments given to the University to aid students majoring in MCJ. Awards
range from $300 to $3,300. Our Chapter began raising funds for a new "MCJ Alumni and
Friends Chapter Scholarship" available for any student that declared MCJ as their
major.
