Band Alumni Club

Our mission is to enrich the Bulldog Marching Band community by supporting strategic fundraising initiatives for scholarships and special projects while fostering a network of alumni connections that support students' career growth and preparation while allowing alumni to retain their connections to each other and the university. We are dedicated to engaging our members through meaningful year-round experiences celebrating our shared heritage while supporting and advancing the future of the BMB community.

Hello Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band Alumni,

It is our absolute pleasure to be sharing with you today the introduction of the new leadership team of the Fresno State Band Alumni Club and our collective outlook for the future of the Band Alumni Club. We are all eager to usher in a new era of support for the advancement of the athletic bands at Fresno State. In this letter we will share with you our newly founded mission statement, our short term and long term goals, how we will be communicating with you going forward, our first fundraiser of the year, current homecoming information, and a brief bio on each of our officers. We are excited to build on the legacy that has been set before us and foster year round involvement in addition to the homecoming experience.

Homecoming 2025

We are seeking nominations for the Norm and Patti Moglia Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band Alumni Award. This award is presented annually to a remarkable Bulldog Marching Band alum to recognize their exemplary service to the Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band.

About the Norm and Patti Moglia Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band Alumni Award

The Norm and Patti Moglia Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band Alumni Award is presented annually to a remarkable Bulldog Marching Band alum to recognize their exemplary service to the Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band.

Named in honor of the first recipients, Norm (class of 1959) and Patti (class of 1959) Moglia received the inaugural award in 2005. Norm and Patti met when they were in the marching band and later married. They exhibited tremendous support for the band in every manner possible their entire lives. Most notably, they are responsible for the formation of what is now known as the Fresno State Band Alumni Club.
