Your journey at Fresno State should be celebrated!
By purchasing a Grad Box, you will get exclusive alumni merchandise (not sold anywhere else) to commemorate this milestone. It also comes with your cap, gown and tassel! It’s our special way to welcome you to the Bulldog alumni family.
Pre-sale will start Jan. 29. Please keep an eye out for an email announcement in your Fresno State email or check alumni.fresnostate.edu for updates.

Your 2024 Grad Box comes with exclusive Fresno State alumni merchandise including: a t-shirt, water bottle, embroidered key tag, license plate frame, pennant and an your official alumni lapel pin. The box also includes your cap, gown and tassel (and hood if you’re a Masters student).

Yes, buy it now! Grad box sales only happen in spring each year. We have limited quantities and we typically sell out fast. If you think you will want a 2024 Grad Box we highly recommend that you purchase yours now.
You can pick up your 2024 Grad Box during the Fresno State Alumni Association’s GradFest at Smittcamp Alumni House (2625 E Matoian Way, Fresno CA 93612, located next to University High School).
GradFest is a three-day celebration to pick up your Grad Box and celebrate your upcoming graduation. Festivities include Grad Box pick-up, music, photo opportunities, meet and greet with Victor E. Bulldog IV, access to Grad Coordinators, commencement early registration, and more.
Please be prepared to pick-up your box on one of the following days
- Wednesday, March 13 | 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Thursday, March 14 | 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Friday, March 15 | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Please note: A friend or family member can pick up your Grad Box on your behalf, they must have your student ID number for verification. If you require further accommodation, please submit a request here
The cap, gown and tassel will not physically be in your box. When picking up your Grad Box, you will receive a voucher to the Kennel Bookstore on campus to redeem your cap, gown and tassel (hood included for Master’s box). Please do not lose the voucher as we are unable to replace it.
No, the box does NOT come with a sash included. However, you do have the option to receive a student donor sash by making a minimum donation of $25.00 to student scholarships, the Student Cupboard, or the Victor E. Bulldog Fund. This donation must be made via the registration site where you purchase your Grad Box.
To purchase the University sash, visit the Kennel Bookstore. To purchase your college/department sash, please contact your graduation coordinator or the admin of your college/department.
To make your graduation journey even more festive, the Fresno State Alumni Association has partnered with amazing vendors that will spruce up your celebration, including the Fresno State Winery, commencement flowers, graduation photos and more!
Fresno State commencement ceremonies will be on May 17 to May 18, 2023. More details will be available at commencement.fresnostate.edu
